2) Minutes and Matters Arising from 8th September 2022:
● The minutes of the meeting were deemed correct.
● The summary minutes were approved to be posted on the
website

3) Site Manager’s Report:
● The new raised beds have been filled with the compost form
Re3 Grow. When wood chippings are available, new paths will
be laid to and around the beds.
● The next working party on 29th October will deal with Plot 20;
half needs clearing and treating for horsetail, then covering up.
The raised bed will be moved to the shed area. Other jobs
include tackling the brambles on the Deepwater side and at the
back of the sheds.

4) Plot status and renewals:
● 24 plot holders have paid for the year.
● A couple of mis-payments will need following up.
● CH will follow up with remaining plot holders.
● We have c. £3700 in the new account but this needs to be split
into a savings account and a current account if possible.
● Plot 15 has become available as it was not renewed.
● There are currently three people on the waiting list.
● CH is arranging to meet with potential new plot-holder who
may take on plot 15.

5) AOB:
● Water meter: this seems not to have been reconnected
properly after the repair by the water company.
● The water will be switched off at the beginning of November
and the tanks emptied.
● LI asked if a WhatsApp group could be formed for members. CH
will advertise this in the next newsletter and members who
wish to be added, can opt in.
● JP asked CH to ask members to save cardboard for the compost
hoppers. LI said that she knew of a source of free cardboard
and could collect some.
● CH said that the polythene guttering on the polytunnel needed
mending before the winter. Remnants have been put inside. JP
will find his double- sided tape to mend this at the next working
party.
● The date of the next working party will be on Saturday 29th
October at 9.30am.
● The date of the next meeting will be on Thursday 17th
November at 8pm.
The meeting closed at 9.15pm.
